About the Business
The Risby Barn Centre is often refered to as the 'Shopping Centre in the countryside'. It was set up in its present form in 1986 by owner Richard Martin. Since then it has grown and developed into what you see today. It features Two Antique Centres, a Garden Centre, Coffee shop, Sewing centre called the Cosy Cabin and a number of smaller businesses. The Centre has been featured on many occassions recently on the BBC2 programme 'The Antiques Road Trip', where a number of interesting items have been tracked down and gone on to be sold at Auction.
The Centre is open SEVEN days a week, including Bank Holidays. You find us on South street in the Village of Risby which is 2 miles west of Bury St Edmunds, at junction 41 on the A14. Follow signs for the village of Risby and you will travel along south street and find THE RISBY BARN CENTRE. Oppisite the church you will need to turn right and this will bring to the Village of Risby, beside the village green.
