About the Business
We moved to Kilcreggan, Argyll & Bute, in early 2013 and instantly fell in love with the Peninsula, the scenery and the local folk. Following the sad deaths of both of our fathers in August that same year (within a few short weeks of each other) we gave up our business interests elsewhere to concentrate on looking after our mums. We turned to eBay to make a living while we traveled great distances between the two widows. We had been lucky enough to move into a huge house here, that we furnished from local auctions and estate clearances - and we fast found ourselves becoming antique 'experts' - although we'd always had a passion for them (and a good eye!)
After many months of running a successful online eBay antiques business we decided to open up a small retail outlet at The Old Boatyard in Kilcreggan. So here we are with a small shop, an eBay shop and this stand-alone website - which all keeps us pretty busy!
