About the Business
I didn't plan to be a dealer of antiques but when I got carried away at a farm sale many years ago and spent most of my college grant in one go, there was no going back! I love country antiques for their honesty as evidence of past lives. Old paint, signs of wear and initials all create clues to age and use. Back then, I was lucky enough to see items at source when farm sales were bountiful. I learnt very quickly the regionality of items - something you couldn't learn now as those farm sales have long gone.
To me these items have soul, a personality of their own. With good stock now so hard to find, it is more exciting than ever to be able to offer something that speaks volumes, for its use, design or as a window in to someone else's life long ago. Call it vintage, distressed, shabby chic, rural bygones or designer interiors it is all here.
