About the Business
A third generation family business founded in 1908 by Alfred Fleming FRSA and we are still in the same road. The business is now carried on by the founder's Grandson, also Alfred Fleming, and his wife Christel. In the late 1920's-30's our London shop was patronised by the late Queen Mary and we were members of the British Antique Dealers association for 60 years. So having myself completed some 50 years in Castle Road at the Clock Tower, I sold our building to Tony Wood, hairdresser, in 2005, but continue to deal from the basement of The Clock Tower, although now by appointment only for the foreseeable future.
You can visit us either by appointment at The Clock Tower or I can visit you at home - see below for contact details. We will therefore still be able to offer our usual services and advice with the buying and selling of antiques, especially helping with the disposal and down sizing of house contents.
